logo to SCAL

Post by stitchesbysharon »

Hi! I am brand new to cutting vinyl with the Cricut... my daughter is making really cute ornaments with names and initials. When at cheer practice tonight several people asked if she could make an ornament with the gym logo on it. Is this possible using the SCAL program? I am totally clueless about all this and very excited about all the possiblities!

OK- I got the logo but it is in jpeg...and I don't know how to crop it... I just want th X

You can make this in a program like Ink and then save it as an SVG and then cut it with SCAL.

Also, if you can get a good copy of the logo, someone here will probably be nice enough to convert it for you - and help you learn to do it yourself.

See if you can get the logo as a digital file, rather than a printout that you have to scan. A lot of logo designers use Adobe Illustrator or Corel, and if you're lucky, it may already be a vector file.

Checking into getting the logo in something other than Jpeg... will let you know!
Thanks so much!
