I'm new to this. Is there a way that I can create my company logo?

Yes, that is the wonderful thing about this program, you can cut pretty much whatever you can dream up ;)

You've just got to get the logo into a vector form-- I'm sure if you have a good image and post it here, someone can help get you started!
