is it possible to add shapes to .scut??

ok my question is im using a tag cut from penny duncan and was trying to add 9 1.50in squares to it..(to add a stamp i cut out that has 9 1in squares) got them all lined up made sure I clicked weld on all squares and also the tag...but when I hit preview it only shows tag non of the squares...am I trying to do something that is impossible?? thanks for anyone that can help!! sorry I only have scal 1 at this time..but if possible in 2 will be getting that!!!

It sounds like the squares are inside the tag? If you want the squares cut from the tag, don't use "weld". Any part of an object inside of another will not cut if they are welded. HTH
