Using software on two computers?

Post by merrysmom »

I really want to buy the SCAL program, but I am torn because I use two computers in different locations in my house and I can't determine if there is a way to download the program to both computers without paying twice. One computer is nearly at the end of it's life span, but the other is waiting to have an internet glitch fixed, so I wouldn't be able to download to it right away.

Are there any solutions, or should I just wait until I get the second computer fixed and settle for only using it there?

Thanks!

Hi,
I have SCAL installed on both my laptop & desktop. I did ask Todd first and he replied that the license covered 2 machines.
I ust went ahead and dowmnloaded it 2nd time exactely same as the first time

Thanks so much! That solves my dilemma- although I wonder if I need to wait for both computers to be functional so that I can do it the same day? Maybe I'll email the company directly, unless someone else knows the answer.

Thanks again!

No you can do it at seperate times. I think I downloaded the 2nd version a couple of weeks after the first one

Can I assume that all you needed was the original codes and license stuff to do this? I want to add it to my "traveling" laptop and was so happy to see the answer that it could be done.

Thanks
