Clueless in PA

Post by michelep50 »

I have SCAL and Inkscape. I have the "Baby Bug". I am clueless where to start. I haven't cut anything for a long time. I need a beginner tutorial and keep looking in all the wrong places. HELP !!!

Thanks,

Michele,
You came to the right place. Everybody here is very friendly and willing to help. First off, do you have SCAL installed and working with your computer?

There are plenty of SVG files here ready to download and cut. Just remember, you IMPORT SVG files and you open SCUT files with SCAL. I wouldn't worry about Inkscape right away. Get comfortable with using SCAL. If you need a special artwork, do a search. There are lots of files already uploaded on this BB. If you don't find it, post a request and somebody here will either find it or make.

I consider myself a newbie too. the links below belong to two of our members. their tutorials are so great. I usually play the tutorial and copy their instructions otherwise I won't remember

I had tried a couple of patterns myself and the people here are so kind (as Tod already stated) that they all come together to help you out.
