Newbie ... HELP.....My purchased software is now showing tha

Help....My son purchased and installed software on my computer for Christmas gift. I have not used it....just a couple of things cut out. I have tried to use it this week, but now it is showing that my software needs to be purchased and activated. I can click on the about box in sure cuts alot, and it show my name and serial number. I have the email that that sent with the info from where the order had been processed and authorized. I can get sure cuts alot to open,do a layout, weld, and then when I click on the cut button to send it to my cricut expressions (also a Christmas gift) , it shows that it needs to be activated. When I click on ok, everything is gone, boxes, mat. I am on a Mac. My son is out of state at college, and really has not done anything with the software other than purchase and install it for me Can anyone help? I did not have time to work on it earlier, now that I do, I am getting frustrated. Thanks for any help.

My advice is to go to the Craft Edge page, www.craftedge.com , and send an email to Todd. I use a PC and am not familiar with MACs.

Try going through the activation process again with your original serial number. Seems that SCAL sometimes "forgets" it is activated (even though the info shows).

I remeber ths first time i activated , took me 2 hours to figure out i had typed a single letter worng.
totaly my fault but no less frustrating.

Thanks for the help. I finally am able to get it to take my info..I had to uninstall and reinstall several times and it is working as of now...thanks again!
