if you have an svg file, you can IMPORT it into scal & cut that file.

I too want to attempt this...I just purchased SCAL today and am reading through the various posts, I seen where you can get an SVG file, but once you click on the one you want then do you click save or find....after that what do you do...lol....totally clueless here....I'm not sure if that's what the OP ment, but I thought since this was asked, I'd elaborate....TIA for any help....there's alot of talented creators on here that seem very knowlegable....love that!!

Save the .svg's in a folder somewhere(desktop, flashdrive) You will find that you are downloading a ton of them! They will be zipped files, you have to unzip them, then you can delete the zip file. Then you open SCAL, IMPORT svg's, OPEN .scut's
It will show up on the "mat" in SCAL. There, you can resize it, make duplicates, or just cut it.

To unzip, you need to right click and follow the prompts, you may need a program such as winzip or winrar, search the forums here, there are a few links thrown about.
Check out my blog for free svgs ....Enjoy :) Kris
