need some help

Post by stargazer20 »

I need some help... I found this shape online and opened it as a .bmp in inkscape and traced it... well now if I were to cut it in SCAL it would cut as a thin outline... Can anyone help me fix that? My ultimate goal is to put a date in the middle of it... i enclosed a picture of what i would hope it looks like...

looks like it might work now!!!

I had a slight problem when I "broke it apart" the layers were all the same color... once I figured that out I was good to go..

thank you again for pointing out that tutorial...
