Incompleted paths...HELP!

I continue to have the same problem over and over; When I import a design (fairly complicated) into SCAL2 trace feature and send it to my Cricut, almost every closed path cuts incomplete......in other words if it's supposed to cut a circle it always leaves a little space between the start point and finish point of the cut......I don't have this problem with anything created in SCAL2, only when I import an image from an outside source.......anyone having this issue? and is there a way to fix it?

Jeff, if you can post the file without violating copyright someone will for sure take a lok and advise.

It happens on almost every file that has a lot of nodes involved...and sometimes on very simple ones...not one file in particular.
