Wall design

Post by raewyn64 »

Hi
I have just made this for my niece for Christmas. Her name is Sam (Samantha) and she loves cats.
I cut the black outline using 12 x 24 cricut paper and then everything else was on standard size.
I used SCAL for it all but copied some of it from other places so can't post the SCUT or SVG files. The cats came from Wreed's post http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =20&t=1237, thanks so much for sharing they came out really great.

That is the best thing about other people's posts is what it can spark in your own mind for something that you can do.
I am pleased it has helped you out Kelsie.

Your wall design is great.. I have a grand daughter Samantha and we call her Sami.. She likes dogs but can't have one because of allergies... I may have to make her something like this now that she has her own room.. thanks for posting your idea..

Thank you and pleased I could inspire you for something.
My Samantha also calls herself Samie now that she is "older" (12) but I have always called her Sam and so that is what she gets on the wall :D
Also it made fewer letters so I could make them bigger ha ha

That is so cute! I'm sure your niece will be pleased. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with something for my 17-year-old daughter's bedroom wall. I'm stumped and she has been no help at all. :(

What is your 17 year old daughter in to? What does she like?
I have found with the use of Inkscape you can design almost anything - unless she is like my nephew who is into wrestling - I haven't beena ble to copy the wrestlers yet into Inkscape and cut :) - but I did do the logo for one of the wrestling programmes and he really liked that.
