Re: A gift for my fellow forum Members

This is lovely. It is perfect for a card for a friend. I will be embroidering a similar design for her and this card will go with it perfectly.

Thank you,
Magda

Re: my SVG cut upside down?

cricut mat showing where it cut my winterwonderland shadow.jpg Actually, it is cutting the correct way. If you notice on your SCAL mat, the arrow is pointing to the left. IF you look on your Cricut, the arrow is pointing to the top. If you rotate the mat so that the arrow is pointing to the left yo...

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a way to do that on the Mac.

But, thanks for the suggestion,

Re: Wish list -- flip, straight lines, multiple files, etc.

Butterfly, After watching the tutorials and playing with the program for a while, there were a few things I forgot about, for example the flip function (at least vertically and horizontally). I am not sure where to find the other functions though. Using the "snap to" allows me to create st...

Gee Barbara, I take back that question about which machine you have. I clearly didn't remember that part of your post when I replied. Heather, I just did a search on "Baby Bug" and now know that is what my Cricut is called. How exciting!

Re: Lines in different places on actual cut. Help!

However I did then notice that as the cut for the top line started the blade went down but didn't cut through the card completely, lifted briefly and then went down again to properly complete cutting the line continuously. The same happened as it started the cutting for the second line - which acco...

Re: Lines in different places on actual cut. Help!

Hi Heather, The SCAL I am using is version 2.030 and I am using the Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter (I think it is the original Cricut Cutter) with version 1.31 firmware in it. I tried redoing the lines and made sure they were the same length (exactly), and same distance from the end. When I ran i...

Re: Lines in different places on actual cut. Help!

The lines cut the same size, but they are not lined up properly. One cuts a whole 1/4" offset from the other. The two lines are only 2/100" off in size (thought I did think that I had just copied and pasted and that they were the same length -- thanks for checking that for me) so that woul...

Re: Newbie With Question

Can you point us to a picture of this turkey so that we know what you mean?

In general, you can cut the main shape in one colour and then create and cut individual feathers and glue them on. Without knowing more about what your design looks like I cannot give more help.
