Re: SCALv2 with MAC Mountain Lion
Thankfully, I've just been successful in downloading the CE SCAL2 version for my MacBook that actually allows me to access my svg files without all the work that chefmarybeth had to go through. With persistence, I hope my SCAL2 on my MacBook is finally working like my Windows version did, but I have...

Re: SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
Great news! The wonderful team at CE have just fixed their Mac version of SCAL2 so that my SVG import is now successful. I'd tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app until last night, when they notified me to download the just updated file and I was thrilled to see that it was finally successful...

Re: Lib it up problems
Hey papasue...it looks like we're crossing paths again! Lib it Up may be obsolete for SCAL3, but not for SCAL2 cuz I just downloaded and installed it on my MacBook! Unfortunately I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know yet if it works properly! I have SCAL2 on my MacBook (because I have a Cricut) an...

Re: Lib it up 2
The Lib it Up Library may be obsolete for SCAL3 users, but since I'm using SCAL2 because I have a Cricuit, I've downloaded Lib it Up 2 so I can try to get my SVG files into SCAL2 on my MacBook. (My import SVG button and Menu command do not work.) If you still need to download it crd6879, you can acc...

Re: SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
I'd love to get SCAL3 and a Cameo Gaz, but it's not possible, so I need to find a work-around! I looked at one of the CE Tutorials about 'SCAL Lib It Up 2' regarding the process of creating my own library. Considering I couldn't import my SVG files like I could on my PC, I wonder if this might be an...

Re: SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
Ha, ha Gaz....if I purchased a new cutter at this point, I'd have to find a new home!!! My hubby doesn't see the need in all the crafting equipment I already own, so adding to it would be grounds for divorce....Nice thought though!

Re: SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
Susan, Ha, ha....I haven't even come close to hooking up my Cricut to my MacBook yet. Call me silly, but I wanted to make sure the installation of SCAL2 was successful before I dragged out my Cricut and hooked the 2 together. I have in excess of 200 svg files, which would take forever to convert to ...

SCAL2 may not work with Mountain Lion 10.8.4
I appreciate your interest papasue! I've discussed this problem with a Mac pro as I was questioning an application on my Mac. It dawned on me that during the installation of the app, it suggested deactivating any virus protection and since I'm using a Mac, I ignored it. After I started having the sv...

Re: SCAL with Cricut
I use SCAL2 with my Cricut Expression. I love the ability to cut out all the fonts that are on my computer as well as utilizing all the neat free svg files you can find online to cut in the colors you want. Hope you have loads of fun like I have!

Re: Can I use a MacBook with SCAL2 without fear?
Hey papasue, I got brave and was delighted that I now have an 'almost' working copy of SCAL2 on my MacBook. The problem I read about has happened to me - the Import SVG button and in the menu do not work. I need to find the other complaint again to see if her problem was solved, but my "Search&...
