Stencil Bridge in SCAL 4
Can someone please tell me how to use the Stencil Bridge? I have tried to use it as I want to create a stencil of one of my svgs, and I can't find any way to adjust the size of the bridge in width. Also, each time I use it, it seems to take away a bit of the detail of my svg, so the more stencil bri...

Re: How to add my own patterns for fills
Susan, Thank you so much, it worked PERFECTLY!!!!!! Would be great if Brandon could add that to the "help" in the program, but I didn't see any thing in there about how to add your own patterns. Thanks again for your tutorial!!!

How to add my own patterns for fills
I have started using some of my digital papers in my designs, and I would like to make a folder of some of them so I don't have to keep doing the"load image" every time I start a new project. Is there a way to create a folder of my digital papers and have them show up in SCAL? There is a f...

Weeding lines in SCAL PRO
I just installed SCAL PRO 3.048 as 3.047 wouldn't open for me, and now I can't find how to place weeding lines on my design so I can cut some vinyl. Can someone please point me to where they are ? I haven't used PRO for awhile and I thought you placed them when you got the popup window when you sele...

Re: Scal Pro version
I have a question about the PRO version. I purchased it from USCutters, and loaded it on my laptop, which is what I use to send to my cutter. When I tried to load it on my desktop, where I do most of my designing, it wouldn't let me activate a second time. So what I want to know, is there a time lim...

Re: Cutting machine that works best with SCAL software
If you are going to have a business, I would make sure you get a machine that can be a workhorse. You don't want one that is going to stop working after it has been on for hours on end. I can't speak to the Eclips or Cameo, but I do know that the Cougar, or Silver Bullet from Sherri at That'sScrapIn...

Re: New cutter just launched, the Silver Bullet
You can create your design in Illustrator, but you will need to have either SCAL or Signcut to send the design to the machine in order to cut it out. The Silver Bullet is a great machine, I have had it for a few months, and I am amazed at what all I can do with it. I still have a lot to learn, but I...

Re: how do I draw a square on point
I know this is a bit late, and hopefully you have found your answer by now, but in case any one is reading this thread for the first time and is looking for the answer... here goes. Draw your square using the Square tool, then go to Object>Transform and when that window pops up, go to Rotate, type i...

Re: Cricut Pens
I doubt if you would be happy with the "writing" of the Cricut pens. They are more like markers, and you won't get clear crisp lines with them, at least I haven't been able to. If you want to do actual writing with the Cricut, you would need something like Amy Chomas gel pen holder. http:/...
