I have seen some in clipart (not svg) but can't get the correct look in svg

I found this image online and wanted to do this for our home bar when I try to seperate it, it seems some of the letters have been welded to the martini glass so when I seperate I don't have the whole martini glass I have played with this for a few days trying dufferent methods and can't seem to get...

I am trying to break this apart and am unable to do so in inkscape
I am not so worried about the lettering.
I am afraid the symbol is unbreakable and if so can anyone make two seperate

I found this funky tree online and want to make one for myself for christmas.
I have no problems with the obvious trapezoid shapes but can't grab the "base" in inkscape to convert
in this picture the baseboard is in the way.

joanne I probably did this the hard way but here's what i did 1. type the name out in word, using word art and using the arch style 2. save it as a pdf 3. change pdf to jpeg (fund online doing a google search of change pdf to jpeg) 4. import jpeg to inkscape, trace, save as svg 5. find half circle j...
