A friend recently downloaded inkscape and when he imports a file it comes in a very light blue. The lines are so light he can barely see them. My files import in black and I don't know what to tell him to help him change the line color.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Leigh Ann

Re: Not sure if this is a SCAL issue or Inkscape
In autocad my polyline is definitely closed before exporting. Heather, I appreciate you and I'm sure you are sick of me by now but is there another way to get my files in svg form? I don't understand how so many others can draw original designs and get them in .svg format and I can't. I've tried a c...

Re: Not sure if this is a SCAL issue or Inkscape
I'm beginning to think this is a lost cause for me. It's very frustrating. I'm attaching a file (the .wmf and the inkscape svg)for someone to look at if they will. I saved it as a .wmf from autocad and imported it into inkscape .47. I ungrouped and combined but am not understanding about the connect...

Re: Not sure if this is a SCAL issue or Inkscape
The reason why you are having problems is because your vectors are lines instead of closed shapes (and why Path/Stroke to path worked for you). Is there a good way for you to connect them in AutoCad? There is a way to do it in Ink, but it can be a little tedious if there are too many line segments....

Re: Not sure if this is a SCAL issue or Inkscape
I would love for someone to take a look at my .wmf file but can't upload it--it says wmf is not allowed. When I do path/union funky things happen so that's why I did stroke to path. If anyone is willing to take a look at my .wmf and give it a try I can e-mail you the file. Thanks! Annie annie21211@y...

Not sure if this is a SCAL issue or Inkscape
First, I draw in AutoCad. I've had a terrible time converting my files to svg's but have finally got it. I have to do several things but have been able to cut my files with SCAL. My problem is that when I import my svg into SCAL and cut, it cuts twice with the second cut slightly off. I do not have ...

Importing files into inkscape & almost blank svg's
I draw designs in AutoCad and this works fine with my Wishblade(converting the .dxf to .gsd) but not with SCAL. What I do is save the file as a .dxf with AutoCad and then import the file into Inkscape and save as an .svg. This looks like it works but the .svg is almost blank when I open it in SCAL. ...
