Firmware V 1.54 on cricut create - SCAL?? 1.51

Ok, I just updated my firmware and it is 1.54 on my create. However SCAL only gives me the option of 1.51
Please someone out there tell me there is a solution. I bought this machine counting on using SCAL. I can't afford all those cartridges. help, help, help!
