Ok, well I chose another rainbow file and it worked without closing down!!! Maybe it just didn't like something with the first one.

Ok, so now.... It is typing at the very edges and not centered like yours.

As soon as I hit the first letter that I wanted to type it stopped working. When I select the rainbow it just the dashed lines and not arrows in the corners like you were going to move it. Correct?

Yes, I am able to select Type on Path, I can select my style of font and also select the ungrouped svg image. It is when I go and actually start the typing that it keeps shutting down.

I finally have decided to try to use Type on Path. I have a rainbow svg file & I wanted words in the different rainbows. So I figured ah finally I can try Type of Path. I ungrouped the svg file and have the one color of the rainbow and each and every time I go to type SCAL closes down on me. I h...

that SCAL would have the feature to make notes like MTC. I have both but love SCAL but I always wish that feature was there to make a note of which font I used.

Is there anyway this can be incorporated in an upcoming update? Thanks...

Thank you ladies. I just have to learn all the little tricks hiding in SCAL, especially tracing, that way I can just stick with one program.
