Heat Press
I started using my Silver Bullet and SCAL for heat transfer vinyl projects, at least three years ago. After growing weary of trying to get a steady heat from a household iron, I posted that I was finding more success with the type of press that is used for wax on skis. Several of you suggested that ...

Re: Cutting Fabric
Also, my understanding is that there are at least three levels of tackiness for the transfer tapes. I'll experiment with that, too!

Re: Cutting Fabric
Sandy, I should be doing other things, but I just can't stop thinking about the "transfer tape." Lol I will try your strategy first. But then I'm thinking I might try this: Step 1 - Pre-treat fabric by stiffening with Terial Magic and then iron onto Wonder Under or Steam a Seam Step 2 - Pr...

Re: Cutting Fabric
Wow, Sandy. That looks like it has serious possibilities!
Thank you so much. We're getting ready to go on a trip. I'll certainly try this out and post my results, upon our return.
Best regards,
Carol

Re: Cutting Fabric
Thanks Sandy, but not exactly. It appears that the information you sent is about a product that is pre-printed. I'm looking for something to be able to lift all the cut pieces, intact, and then flip them onto another layer of fabric cuttings, where they will be all fused together. Imagine cutting he...

Cutting Fabric
My apologies in advance if my question isn't clear, but here goes... I've been experimenting (successfully) with cutting fabric. However, now I want to cut the fabric such that once it's weeded, the remaining pieces are still affixed to an iron-able backing so that I can peel the entire set of piece...

Question about Erase
I'm using the square erase tool And, I've selected "Keep paths closed," but the paths are staying open. I've just recently reloaded the software, so I don't think it's a version issue.
Thanks so much,
Carol

New Computer
I got a new computer. I thought we had transferred the files and software I would need. Now that the computer has been reformatted, I realize that I've lost the SCAL software. Whom should I contact? Thanks so much, Carol UPDATE: Just reviewed Sherri's original email when I bought the Silver Bullet. ...

Re: My stencil tool leaves a box rather than a bridge
Thanks, papasue. I had seen the link, but my software was leaving a box, not a smooth path. HOWEVER, through the magic of life, the stencil features seems to be working just fine now. Go figure. My husband and I always say the wind must be coming from the west, because now it's fixed! Best regards, ...
