Just found out how thick the card is. 240 gsm. Not as thick as I thought.
I had another go and it was bunging the blade up with fibers. A bit of a shame but there's lots of other fun to be had.

Re: Roland blades in the eClips, and Advanced Settings in eC
Hello hylaweb,
Did you get the blades to work?
Can you cut thicker material?
I'll be interested to know.
Cheers.
Alex.

Re: Pressure and depth setting help
The paperstock is very high gsm and very fiberous. I've cut thick card that has a plasic coating and is more brittle.
I think it's just the material I'm trying to cut (possibly)

Re: Pressure and depth setting help
Cheers mate :-) I've found I have to fiddle quite a bit. I do use different papers and cards. Unfortunatly, I'm having no luck with the papermill card. Seems it's too thick. The fibers get stuck on the blade and it stops cutting all the way through. Pressure and depth (or either) of 5, just scores t...

Pressure and depth setting help
Hello. New to sizzix, new to ecal (and loving it) After a shakey start, I'm cutting paper but I'm nervous about cutting card. I have some great card stock which must be 300gsm (at least) from http://papermilldirect.co.uk (highly recommended). My first venture at cutting card, I killed a blade and di...

Hiya.
Try the search option on your computer if you type *.svg (the atsrix is needed) it will search for anything with a .svg file signiture.
Once you've found them, copy them to my documents or somewhere you can find them and inport them into scal.

Re: Help. US machine doesn't work in UK.
PS.
Any UK customer using a USA sizzix machine. Yes, it does work.
You just need to buy an english power lead to fit into the universal adapter (you will likley have one in your cupboard. I used my mum's printer lead. No probs)

Re: Help. US machine doesn't work in UK.
Hello. Thanks for your replies. I sorted the problem. The lazer/cutting "thing" was in the middle (not to the left). I managed to reset it by attached the computer USB into the controller. I think I shocked it into resetting itself. After a couple of days tearing my hair out trying to get ...
