Re: SCAL crashes when hitting ESC
Well, I have narrowed down my problem more. When I use the pen tool, and I click outside of the path, it produces a line with handles. I can click to add nodes just fine, but once I want to end the line (ie. before I add another node), by hitting enter, that is when it crashes. Testing it a bit more...

Re: Smaller measurements than 1/4" - is it possible?
No help here? If it's not possible I'll work around it. Confirmation on this though would eliminate my 'hopeful desire'.

Smaller measurements than 1/4" - is it possible?
I would love to have the mat show marks for 1/32" or even 1/8".
Is this possible?
Is this possible?

SCAL crashes when hitting ESC
I've tried to do a search on the forums but I can't seem to find a matching post, and I'm not sure where to post this kind of question.. I don't think its a 'bug'. If I should move it, please let me know. :) When I am working with a shape, and I use the the pen tool I'm having crashing problems. I s...

Re: Layer troubles.. :(
Well, I figured it out. Turns out because objects b and c were open paths (I didn't mention that in the first post since I didn't think it was important) they can't be both selected. Once I closed the two paths, they performed normally and I was able to create a union between them. Ah... The land of...

Re: Question on changing nodes (smooth to corner)
Glad to help. :) I'm still slogging my way through SCAL, and today discovered that I need to close paths to be able to select multiple 'objects' I surmise that they aren't considered objects until they are closed. I was trying to join two open paths and I couldn't get both selected at the same time ...

Layer troubles.. :(
Something seems wrong with working with layers, and assuming it's user error, I'm hoping for a few quick tips. :) 1. I have three layers, each with a shape. To help with keeping it straight, I'll call them layers a-c and objects a-c. Without selecting any layers, I can select object a, but not the o...

Re: Question on changing nodes (smooth to corner)
Thank you for sending me to Pandora's video. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it solves my problem I think - for the time being. As for the Help for Scal3, if your referring to the help menu within the program I'd have to say it would have been better left out of the program. It provide...

Re: Node editing in SCAL - on an old fashioned telephone sha
It is a great video. :) It helped me with some issues. I mentioned them and an additional question on your video, but others might find it helpful to have it posted here, and it seems like an extension of node editing. How can you divide a shape into two parts, so you can discard one half? I saw a l...
