Re: i see provo craft is up to scare mongering again
I know that I won't be investing in the Gypsy, for one I have a laptop with a 16" screen, the screen on the Gypsy is way to small. Also, I live in Canada and the cost of the Gypsy here is way too high, I know I can use my money much more wisely. I have SCAL and once I figure it out I know I wil...

Not sure if you know but there is a guy who has a bunch of silhouette pictures in a font. Some of them are amazing.

Re: Help Please with svg to scal
Okay.....
In Inkscape ungroup everything, then do I select each square and do object to path and combine?
Is there a way to separate them so that when I import the file to SCAL I can select individual squares and duplicate them? Or do I have to create individual files?
Thanks so much for your help.

Re: Help Please with svg to scal
I am working with the SCAL 1 version. I opened SCAL and the opened the .scut file, and I don't see anything.
When I import the svg into SCAL I get the images but they are not where they are supposed to be.
Thanks for being so patient.

Re: Help Please with svg to scal
Thanks so much for doing this.
When I tried to open the SCUT file it came up blank?
Also when I try to import the SVG into SCAL the boxes are not where they are supposed to be?
I guess I am trying to create something that is too advanced for me....

Re: Help Please with svg to scal
Jancy: I can't even select the items to break apart.
Grammy: I created the file in Inkscape so I shouldn't have to import it should I?
I have attached the page, I have to ungroup all of the pieces because they don't import very well into SCAL if I don't.
thanks all
Cathryn

making sliceform templates
Hi,
I would like to make some snowflakes using the sliceform method. Does anyone know if the pieces are all the same? Is there a limit to how many pieces I would use?
Thanks for any help
