Craft Edge

I sent an email to Craft Edge and they told me to turn off my firewall and antivirus then activate SCAL. I then turned everything back on and it works just fine.

I just purchased SCAL in April and now I have to pay to upgrade? That somehow doesn't seem fair. Guess I will keep the old version I have.

Provocraft is coming out with a handheld device called the Gypsy. From what I have heard you will be able to load your cricut carts on it and be able to create wherever you go. It did not affect SCAL. The update is for the new carts only, not the DS program. My SCAL is working perfectly after I updated my DS with the new carts.

I have tried to import a PDF, but when I click on the PDF file to import, my Inkscape says it is not responding.

The DS itself has not been updated since December. The only new update is for the new cartridges. I have DS with the December update and my SCAL still works just fine.

I have it on both a VISTA 32 bit computer and a 64 bit computer. No problems with either.

I have often wondered how to transfer detailed designs because I can never get them lined up. I am off to buy some tape to give this a try. Thanks for the suggestion and this wonderful board for sharing.
