Help with how font manager works
Lots of people are suggesting the Font Thing to manage fonts. I have it but I don't know what to do with it. Are you able to group fonts and dingbats by types like: animal shapes, holidays, cute, formal, movie title scripts, etc? If so, how do I do that, And, does this organize the font in other pro...

So when you trace in Inkscape do you trace with one of the tools like the pencil and then save the tracing as a different file?

I have been using the inkscape tutorials and learning sooooo much. But, I have more questions. 1. If I want to cut out a digbat such as a dog do I have to cut one in shadow mode and one in normal and then laayer them? Is there a different way to get a somewhat detailed cut? 2. I so much appreciate all the help we are getting from the experieced and/or smart people on this forum. Geesh, I feel like I am the slowest dumb bunny. I keep reading about this on this MB. Do I have to have another program to run inkscape? I haven't tried downloading yet because I don't have Illustrator or coreldraw. If I need something like that how much would a program cost?

I don't know if this is what you are talking about but there is a button that you can select "Normal", "blackout", "Mixed. On the shapes that cut out a thin line if you select 'blackout" it will cut out shape as a whole. I guess you would cut out the shape as a blackou...
