Re: RECOMMEND A CUTTER
I've been using my Gazelle for over a year and I love it. I just got the KnK Zing and find it amaZing. It comes with MTC software which I had to learn and I really love it. No cutter is going to be perfect and you have to adjust to its limitations. I don't like the bladeholder and blades that come s...

Re: eClips & eCal - Print and Cut Video
The patterncooler site is very cool. I have printed sheets of paper so I could cut a pattern but the way Leo showed in the video if simply great.

Re: Zing and SCAL
It is posted, and there's a pix also, that you can use the eclips holder and it fits perfectly. My G-holder is longer than the Z-holder but I marked the spot for putting it in the Zing. Will probably order the eclips holder when I find a sale again.

Re: Zing and SCAL
The blade is different from the norm but you can use other bladeholders. I'm u using the Gazelle bladeholder and it works perfectly. Mine is not a click holder now that I understand how to set the blade, I prefer to do it myself. And the Zing bladeholder has springs which can be easily lost. I was h...

Re: Eclips (first impression comments)
Glad You guys are enjoying your new machines. I opted for the Zing and pretty happy with it except for the bladeholder. Since I already have a Gazelle I just use that holder and it cuts like a dream.
Now I just gotta learn Make The Cut software that came with the machine.

Re: SCAL with the Pazzles and Gazelle
Blade offset: Because a blade is slanted and a cut begins at the tip of the blade, at the end of a cut there may be a section that does not completely cut out because the tip didn't go to the beginning of the cut (can't draw a photo cuz I'm on a tablet). Blade offset will move the blade to make up f...

Re: Using SVG Cuts files with SCAL 3 and eCraft
Don't have the eCraft but to do separate cuts, I would put the score lines on a separate layer.
