I have ecal, and I want to upgrade ; do I need to buy the ecal3 ($59.00) or the upgrade underneath it ($29.00)?

Just replaced my old Sizzix eclips 2 with a new Sizzix eclips 2. Plugged it in and it is cutting half an inch to the left of what my computer screen shows? I am using Sure cuts a lot. Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
