Re: Help converting DXF files

Oh, forgot to mention we got our Expression machine in yesterday! That 12 x 24 mat looks HUGE compared to the old cricut we've used for the last few years.

Re: Help converting DXF files

Here you go Jasen. The whole dxf kit. I tried going into inkscape and doing the fill thing but I just can't figure it out. No matter what color I set the line and fill to my import is still blank. I need a tutorial for inkscape I guess.... Hmm the file is too large to stick here. Let me find the link.

It looks as though all the nodes are connected now but instead of it being one continuous color it is MANY different colors. I will t...

Re: out of scale

I am new to all this so I didn't know if it was a mistake on my part or what. Now I know and can allow for it. Yes I do build model planes, and 1/16" sheeting is not uncommon so if your parts are 1/16 off you are basically the thickness of the skin that is on the outside of the plane. Half the ...

out of scale

I'm having a small scaling issue with SCAL and the small Cricut machine. I have imported some dxf objects and when I go into transform and scale it will say... oh 2.5 inches in width. It will actually come out 2 7/16" wide. So I'm having to go through and adjust all my measurements by 1/16"...
