I love my cricut mats but when you first open them up they are SUPER Sticky and I'm not sure it's so much the glue as the little bits of paper that stay attached to the mat when you remove your cutouts that build up. What I do when I first open a new mat is remove some of the sticky by using a lint ...

Sonya, What helped me was to use sandpaper and gently rub the surface to allow the tile to have some "teeth" for the vinyl to adhere to. Also, there is a difference in vinyl and when I do tiles I use outdoor (like what they use on boats and cars) instead of the indoor home decor type which...
