Thank you and anything simple to do works well for me right now.

I haven't been able to use my cutter in some time....but retiring at the end of this school year. Then the cutter will come out. I have also found stamping to be a little quicker for me right now for my cards, but sure do miss using my cutter.

Goal for me ...practice with Copics more often....your coloring is wonderful.

Just a thought....try setting your speed setting a little lower. Tags are usually not complicated and not knowing what computer or operating system you are using, it could be a matter of how the data is streaming to the software.

The SCAL software for the Cricut Expression is no longer available as a result of Provocraft actions prohibiting use of 3rd party software on this machine....which is unfortunately. You are limited to the use of the cartridges which you may still be able to purchase on eBay or from private sellers.

You might want to contact Provocraft. If it is the initial Cricut Expression machine, they have been out for quite a while and might have seen it's better days.

Make sure all updates are also installed if you just installed the original version.

Have you contacted Sizzix directly through their website? I had an issue with my original one that was replaced and have not had a problem since then. If it has been replaced 3 times, perhaps contacting the US office might get a response through to your home office. Sounds like you might use it pret...
